Our Training Philosophy

At the Arizona Budokan we train in a variety of martial arts that all have real world applications.  Our classes are structured around techniques that are both physically and mentally challenging.  While practicing the movements we balance the workout to include upper and lower body, right and left side with constantly changing patterns.  This makes the class physically aerobic but not routine.   Our classes are structured to accommodate students of all ages from youth to senior citizens.   Each student advances at his or her own pace and receives quality black belt instruction in the art or arts of choice.  Traditional etiquette and Japanese language skills are also reinforced throughout our classes.  We take pride in our heritage and pass-on our lineage and history as we train.
